Specific Heat
The specific heat is the amount of heat per unit mass required to raise thetemperature by one degree Celsius. The relationship between heat and temperature change is usually expressed in the form shown below where c is the specific heat. The relationship does not apply if a phase change is encountered, because the heat added or removed during a phase change does not change the temperature.

Introduction
Hi,
My name is Arnold Garza and I am a Senior at Rivera High School. I am currently taking the Aquatic Science course with Mr, Efren Chavez. I look forward to coming to 4th period each and everyday. His room is very cool.
I am very interested in aquatic science because it involves sea creatures. I like learning about fish and other interesting facts about water life. I think it is amazing due to the fact that we still have not discovered 70% of the ocean. Last but not least I hope to learn more about ocean life.
